Our Compliance Commitment
Legion Comps is a signatory to, and operates in line with, the UK Government (DCMS) Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators. This page sets out the measures we have in place to protect players, run transparent draws, and hold ourselves accountable.
1. Player Protections
- ✓ 18+ only. Accounts and entries require confirmation that you are 18 or over, and our advertising is not targeted at under-18s.
- ✓ Monthly spend limits. You can set a maximum monthly spend across all competitions — as low as £0 — which cannot be exceeded. See Player Safety.
- ✓ Credit card controls. In line with the Code, credit-card spending is restricted (and not accepted for instant-win draws). Open banking and debit options are available.
- ✓ Take a break / self-exclude. You can pause your account, or self-exclude for a minimum of 6 months. We will not market to you while you are excluded.
- ✓ Activity monitoring. We monitor for signs of harm and take a proportionate approach to support players.
- ✓ Free, confidential support. We signpost independent help including the National Gambling Helpline (0808 8020 133), BeGambleAware, GamCare, GAMSTOP, National Debtline, Citizens Advice and Samaritans (116 123). See Player Safety.
- ✓ Socially responsible marketing. Our advertising follows the CAP/BCAP codes and never presents competitions as a solution to financial problems.
2. Transparency
- ✓ Awarded by the laws of chance. Every prize is awarded in accordance with the laws of chance.
- ✓ Provably fair, auditable draws. Winners are selected by a cryptographically secure, verifiable process. We publish a commitment hash before tickets go on sale and a full verification record after each draw — see any past draw on our Winners page.
- ✓ Equal chance, paid or free. Free postal entries are placed in the same draw pool as paid entries and have an equal chance of winning every prize.
- ✓ Clear free entry route. A genuine free postal entry route is available for every competition — see Free Entry.
- ✓ Odds disclosed. The maximum number of tickets and the resulting odds are shown on each competition page before you enter.
- ✓ We honour the draw. We do not cancel a draw, change its end date, or reduce the prize because of low ticket sales. Winners receive the advertised prize or a reasonable cash alternative.
3. Accountability
- ✓ We review our compliance with this Code and act quickly to fix any shortfall.
- ✓ Third parties. We take reasonable steps to ensure partners who support our draws follow the relevant requirements of this Code.
- ✓ Complaints & independent resolution. We operate a clear complaints process and, where needed, signpost independent Alternative Dispute Resolution — see make a complaint and Terms clause 14.
- ✓ Published measures. The measures on this page are published openly and kept up to date.
